The Amun-Ra essential oil is one of the sacred oils of Ancient Egypt. It uses the authentic Secret Min formula used by the ancient Egyptians in their ceremonies to Amun-Ra.
The Secret of Min is an ointment designed to meet the members of the God and to anoint any statue of wood or stone. The formula was a secret passed from father to son. Only the priest did the cleansing.
This secret is found in the walls of the temple of Edfu. His formula was similar to that of tisheps, but he added minerals: Gold, Silver, Laspil?zuli, Green Moonstone, Red Jasper, Turquoise, Faience, Carnelian.
This alchemical blend of minerals, plants and resins, transferred divinity when a statue is anointed. Heat should be applied with a spatula (it was a black and sticky product) After treatment the statue was ready for the mouth opening.
