Julius Caesar Bust Statue

Like his statue, Caesar is said to have been tall, fair, and well-built, with a rather broad face and keen, dark-brown eyes. Julius's health was sound, apart from sudden comas and a tendency to have nightmares which deeply troubled him near the end of his life. Caesar even had epileptic fits twice while on campaign. Julius Caesar thus became the one reliable source of help to all who were in legal difficulties, or in debt, or living beyond their means. It has been suggested that constant exercise of power gave Caesar a love of it; and that, after weighing his enemies strengths against his own, he took a chance at fulfilling his youthful dream and made a bid for the monarchy.
