Large Michelangelo's Moses Statue

Michelangelo's sculpture has Moses holding the Ten Commandments after he brought the tablets down from Mount Sinai. Moses was a holy hebrew and is known from the bible to have had a scepter, surrounded with coils, that helped him part the seas while fleeing Egypt during the exodus. Even to this day its said, by some, that Moses foreshadows and eclipses Jesus in the minds of the learned biblical scholars.
